Who can get the PM Surya Ghar subsidy?
Residential electricity connections. The subsidy goes to the person named on the bill, and their bank account name must match. Commercial and industrial connections don't get it.
How long does the subsidy take to arrive?
Usually 45 to 90 days from application, mostly depending on when the DISCOM inspection happens. We track it until it reaches your account.
Does solar work in winter fog?
Yes. Output drops on foggy and cloudy days but does not stop, and summer months produce more. We size your system on the yearly average.
Can I get a loan?
Banks offer solar loans under the scheme for the amount left after subsidy. We help with the documents.
Does it work in Kashmir too?
Yes. The same scheme and subsidy apply across the UT. Our designs account for snow load and tilt for higher latitudes.
Until when is the scheme open?
PM Surya Ghar runs until 31 March 2027. Because the process takes 2–3 months, starting early keeps you comfortably inside the deadline.
